​Sean Abramowitz, Executive of Desert Ensemble Theater, spoke to Mrs. Newhouse's TTECHS seniors last week on a Zoom visit.
Abramowitz gave some information about his background delving into possible internship opportunities with the venue in Fall and Winter.  Two on-site internships and two virtual internships (industry speaking series) will be available for students this year.  Following his presentation, students got an opportunity to ask questions about the business of theater, television, and film.

  • Former RACE student Abraham Duardo is currently working at AutoZone and attending COD. He is also training to become a firefighter.

  • Former RACE student Damian Quiroz is currently working at Schultz-Off-Road in Palm Desert.  Schultz has been a RACE partner for 3 years and Quiroz marks the second RACE graduate Schultz has hired.

Saturday, Sept. 24, 2002
  • ​Four CAFE students and two advisors attended the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Fall Leadership Region 10 Meeting in Corona Sept. 24 at Centennial High School.  The event marked the first in-person gathering in three years for Region 10 Students.   Students participated in various seminars on food procedures and careers while advisors held their own meeting to discuss business items. A fundraiser raffle was held before the meeting adjourned.
